Updated the versions on the site – of most things.

Left to do outside of Wordpress:

Shame.  Efforts to make animal abuse in the state of Utah failed again today during a special session called for just that purpose (I was told…). It appears that the (republican) sticking point has to do with other parts of the current code:

Sen. Jon Greiner, R-Ogden said that as long as other crimes such as child abuse, assaulting a police officer and sexual abuse of a minor remain misdemeanors, harsher treatment shouldn’t be reserved for crimes against animals.

It might be interesting to see what the politicians position are on these ‘other’ misdemeanors, and the efforts to adjust them.
